History
The College of Business Entrepreneurship and Accountancy (CBEA) traces its roots from the Board Resolution No. 205. S. 2005 which was initiated by the University President-Dr. Roger P. Perez. The New course offering sought to answer the demands not only of the Cagayanos but also of the neighboring provinces.
The College used to be a program offering of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) before it became a separate college with two curricular offerings – Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majors in Financial Management and Management Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in June 2006. It was then called College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) with only Prof. Emerita P. Geron, the only full time faculty and acts as the Dean and as a regular faculty and shared an office with the College of Public administration.
In June 2007, the College commence the school year in its new four-storey-building in Caritan. After a year, the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship was transferred to the College from CAS. Along with the transfer of BS in Entrepreneurship is the offering of BSBA major in Marketing contributing the remarkable increase in the number of enrollees from 200 in 2005 t0 1117 this school year.
The College now has eight (8) regular faculty, eight (8) shared faculty and twenty eight (28) part time instructors. The college is also proud to have the most number of Academic Scholar for SY 2008-2009 numbering to 135 which is 65% of the Academic Scholars of the University.
The University President, Dr Roger P. Perez approved the request of the change of college name from College of Business Administration & Accountancy (CBAA) to College of Business, Entrepreneurship & Accountancy (CBEA) effective August 14, 2008.CBEA truly manifests CSU’s educational transformation, setting most of its ideas and values in the minds and hearts of its learners.

The College envisions being a lead producer of highly competent and globally competitive Professional Accountants, Financial Analysts, Managers, Business Consultants and Entrepreneurs.
Mission
To provide business students with quality education, technical expertise and professional values to enable them to become responsible Professional Accountants, Financial Analysts, Managers, Business Consultants and Entrepreneurs and capable of making a positive contribution in their lifetime to the profession and to the society in which they work.
Goals
- To prepare students taking-up Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) for the Certified Public Accountants(CPA) licensure examinations.
- To provide business students a foundation of professional values, attitudes, ethics, knowledge and skills that enables them to continue to learn and adapt to change throughout their professional lives.
- To enable the students to have a common foundation of knowledge through a core cluster of general and business courses.
- To provide students a sufficient exposure to real work environment.
- To enable business students to acquire ethical values and possess a thorough understanding and appreciation of the corporate social responsibility.
- To actively involve the students in the community development through accounting researches, extension services and linkages with business and other related sectors.
- To develop and to maintain an attitude of continuous learning, to maintain their competence later as professional accountants, Financial Analysts, Managers, Business Consultants and responsible Entrepreneurs.

Extension
a.The College of Business and Accountancy has provided technical assistance and capability building activities through workshops to the Cataggaman Nuevo Mushroom Producers Multipurpose Cooperative to empower them in the management of their cooperative.
b.The Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Faculty members of the College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy provided technical assistance and audit services to the CSU Faculty/Personnel Club of Tuguegarao City.
c.A tree planting activity was extended by the CBEA Faculty members and the Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst (ICFA) – an accredited CSU Student Organization in cooperation with the Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) at the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Carig, Tuguegarao City.
