After a series of structural reimaging in its seven campuses, President Roger P. Perez and the Infrastructure Office of CSU plans to follow the athenaeum structure that now stands in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan with another monumental construction to house thirty-two classrooms for the College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy and hotel laboratories for the College of Hotel Industry Management- the latter being one of the over subscribed courses in Tuguegarao since its conception in 2005..
"To get the education they truly deserve", were the words of President Perez during the groundbreaking ceremony held at the site on December 8, 2008, attended by the three vice-presidents and members of the academe, faculty and personnel.
With an estimated budget of forty million pesos, President Perez dedicated the construction of the building to the students of CSU, sourcing its funds from the fees collected during enrollment. This four-storey edifice which follows the Greek architecture similar to the Academic Building in Caritan, is a phase-by-phase project of CSU which is expected to be completed on June 2009.
