The joint choirs of the Coro de San Jacinto, the St. Paul University Philippines Chorale and the Coro de San Jacinto sang in concert, accompanied by the University of Santo Tomas Symphony Orchestra. The performance was widely acclaimed and brought both orchestral and choral music to Tuguegarao City. The 86-member choir was trained by Fr. Rannie C. Aquino, Vice-President for Academic Affairs of CSU, who has been musical director for the past four years. It is the first time that the Cagayan State University Chorale joins the choral ensemble. Earlier, the joint choirs performed at the University of Northern Philippines in Vigan City and at a concert at the Abbot Lopez Hall, San Beda College (Mendiola), at a concert attended by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Joseph Addams, the Honorable Leonardo Quisumbing, Senior Associate Justice of the Supreme Court and other distinguished personages.
