CSU PRESIDENT ALVARADO INSPIRES GRADUATES OF PIAT CAMPUS: 'WORK NOT FOR MERE INCOME BUT FOR THE IMPACT YOU CREATE

On July 13, 2023, CSU President, Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, in her charge to the graduates of Piat Campus during the 45th Commencement Exercises, emphasized that as they bid farewell to the University, may the graduates find inspiration to work not only for the sake of getting an income but to create an impact. “Live a life with a purpose and a life of service for others”, she added and wished them marvelous victories in their new journey in life.

With the theme “CSU: Responding to Global Trends in Quality Education,” CSU Piat proudly presented the campus’ 397 graduates – 4 Master of Science in Agriculture, 66 Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, 69 Bachelor of Science in Criminology, 160 Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, 19 Bachelor of Elementary Education, 62 Bachelor of Secondary Education and 17 Bachelor of Technology in Livelihood Education.

During the celebration, President Alvarado was accompanied by VP for Academics - Dr. Mariden Cauilan; VP for Research, Development, and Extension - Dr. Junel Guzman; Executive Assistant to the President & University Information Officer - Prof. Ana Marie Cauilan; CEO of CSU Piat - Dr. Hitler Dangatan; CEO of Solana – Dr. Haidee Mabborang; University Registrar - Mr. Abraham Bangayan; University Librarian - Prof. Ronald Sumait; Alumni Relations and Placement Services Director - Dr. Recto Aguirre; Member of the Board of Regents - Mr. Loreto Pacay, Jr., campus officials and faculties, among others.
