CSU CELEBRATES 1ST ANNIVERSARY OF CSU CALAYAN EXTENSION CAMPUS

Last year on this same day, we set asail our vessel for the shores of Calayan, Cagayan with 11 faculty and staff hoisting a flag of hope for 58 students eagerly awaiting to make their dreams happen. Amidst the the challenges of sea navigation and the distance from their families, Mr. Rex Dullit, the Campus Head and his team stepped outside their comfort zone and faced the many challenges to extend their services to this elusive but beautiful paradise. Now we have a total of 160 enrollees.
This achievement would not be possible without the strong support of our partner, the LGU Calayan thru Mayor Jong Llopis and our CSU Board of Regents.
Re-awakening this extension campus after many years of slumber is one legacy this administration will be remembered by.
As we celebrate the first Anniversary of CSU Calayan Extension campus, I wish to extend my gratitude to the 11 faculty and staff for all the sacrifices for bringing in CSU quality education to Calayan. Congratulations for rekindling the candle of hope and for building more dreams to happen.
