CSU THANKS PARTNERS THRU GABI NG PASASALAMANT

In honor of CSU’s partners for community development, Cagayan State University conducted “Gabi ng Pasasalamat” on June 8, 2023 which became an avenue to recognize the support and assistance given by various line agencies and individuals to the cause of quality education and extensive research.

The organizations that were recognized include DOST and its attached agencies, DA R02, DA-BAR, DOE National, UP-NEC, DENR R02, DOH R02, DTI R02, TESDA Cagayan, Lighthouse Cooperative, GoodFellow Pharma Cooperation, NGCP, and Pugad Lawin. Individual awardees were also aptly recognized.

The honorees were delighted with a cultural presentation by the Athena Performing Arts Bureau, serenaded by the composer of the anniversary song “Tatak CSU” by Mr. Romuald La Madrid, and entertained through a dance performance by the university officials as part of the tribute.

University President Urdujah G. Alvarado expressed her gratitude to CSU’s partners and acknowledged their indispensable support in the attainment of its goals. She mentioned that “the different milestones and achievements that CSU has reached in the past years were made possible through the partnerships we have forged with line agencies and organizations who helped us make a difference and who share the same mission of intellectual pursuit and countryside development”.

In the message of response from the partners, DOST Undersecretary Sancho A. Mabborang expressed his joy to be back as he used to be part of CSU’s Board of Regents. He said he is proud that the university transformed into an institution with class, sophistication, untiring innovation, and international standards. “It is an honor to receive the award from CSU though President Alvarado and her team who share the passion and commitment of serving the community,” he added.

Dr. Diana L. Ignacio, DOST Assistant Secretary, also gave her response and thanked CSU for acknowledging DOST as a valuable partner and that the agency looks forward to continuously working together in strengthening academe-industry collaborations. #CSUat45
