In a spirit of camaraderie through sports, Cagayan State University joined the recently concluded 10th Association of State Colleges and Universities – Solid North (ASCU-SN) Summer Olympics 2023 in a series of friendly sports and cultural tournaments held at Tarlac Agricultural University from June 26-29, 2023.

The CSU delegation was represented by faculty members and non-teaching personnel from the different campuses. True to its ode of excellence, CSU won gold medals in 100 Meter Dash, Lawn Tennis (Women-45 below), Sepak Takraw (Men), and Chess (Men). The university also received silver medals in Shotput, Chess (Women), Lawn Tennis (Men), and Table Tennis (Men). Bronze awards were also taken home by CSU players for Basketball (3V3), Lawn Tennis (Women 45-below), and Table Tennis (Women Divisions).

As an annual sports affair of state colleges and universities from regions 1,2, 3 and the Cordilleras, this year’s theme focused on Solidifying Northern Relationships Thru Games of Agility and Ingenuity.
