This lecture delivered by CHED Commissioner and Professor Lilian A. De Las Llagas was attended by all Vice Presidents, University Directors, Campus Academic Directors and Academic Deans on January 9, 2018 at Hotel Roma. President Tejada initiated this activity to inspire the officials to work for excellence amidst the complex and rapidly growing challenges of running a university.
"Excellence is a decision, a statement of conviction, and non-negotiable. It is our day-to-day survival. An excellent university has an excellent operation leading to academically excellent performance. They are partners in line. Otherwise, if you are just an academic leader but your operation is not getting on well, you have no university," De Las Llagas stressed.
