CSU, ISPSC PARTNER TO ADVANCE RESEARCH AND DIGITAL INNOVATION

Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) and Cagayan State University (CSU) formalized a strategic academic partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement signed on February 6, 2026, at ISPSC, Candon City, Ilocos Sur.

Signed by ISPSC President Dr. Mario P. Obrero and CSU OIC President Dr. Arthur G. IbaƱez, the agreement establishes a collaborative framework for joint research, faculty development, and instructional innovation in computer science, data science, and information technology.

Under the MOA, CSU, through its College of Information and Computing Sciences, Carig Campus, and ISPSC will jointly implement research and development initiatives, co-develop instructional materials and academic modules, and conduct faculty capacity-building programs.

The agreement also covers joint extension initiatives, student internships and on-the-job training opportunities, and the co-creation of instructional materials aligned with national and global academic standards. The MOA is effective until April 2029.
