CSU REMAINS NO. 1 IN RESPIRATORY THERAPY FOR 8TH STRAIGHT YEAR, PRODUCES 18 NATIONAL TOPNOTCHERS

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released on February 11, 2026, the results of the February 2026 Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination, once again naming Cagayan State University (CSU) – Andrews Campus as the Top 1 Performing School nationwide, marking its eighth consecutive year at the top.

CSU achieved a 100% institutional passing rate, with 131 out of 131 examinees successfully passing the examination, significantly surpassing the 74.19% national passing rate (776 passers out of 1,046 examinees).

The milestone was further strengthened by the exceptional performance of Batch Hiralaya, which produced 18 national topnotchers, reflecting the University’s sustained tradition of academic excellence and rigorous clinical training.

Among the national topnotchers were:

•Top 2 (92.25%) – Jave Gomez Castro, Dinver Jay Devolgado Pedrosa

•Top 3 (92.00%) – Aleczandra Bas-ong De Leon

•Top 4 (91.75%) – Cathrina Nicole Herrera Bangayan

•Top 5 (91.50%) – Jubelyn Mae Caluza Buduan

•Top 6 (91.25%) – Allen Jay Juan Cayetano, Catherine Ranchez Ramos

•Top 7 (91.00%) – Elv Jewel Mareeh Cudal Alejon, Cezz Zarion Vialu Conel, Marijoe Sison Cortizano, Angel Mateo Sera, Katrina Bristol Vergara

•Top 8 (90.75%) – Karyll Mae Uclaray Aguila, Nicole Yvette Miramonte Irigayen, Vince Christen Mauvry Lasam Mabalot

•Top 9 (90.50%) – Jasmin Mishel Beltran Turingan

•Top 10 (90.25%) – Lezahnor Furigay Casibang, Claire Ann Lim Domingo
