Cagayan State University (CSU) was recognized for its exemplary collaboration in advancing agricultural extension initiatives during the 39th Founding Anniversary of the Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) held on February 11, 2026.
Carrying the theme, “Loyalty in Action: Driving Agricultural Excellence through Service and Accountability”, the award recognized CSU’s strong institutional partnership in implementing collaborative agricultural extension programs that bridge research, technology transfer, and farmer education.
Key initiatives included the establishment of a Learning Site for Agriculture and a swine multiplier techno-demo farm, which serve as training and innovation hubs for local producers.
CSU’s technical involvement has contributed to improved productivity, climate resilience, and sustainable farming practices.
Meanwhile, Dr. Josie Y. Bas-ong, Director for Extension, formally presented the certificate to CSU OIC President Arthur G. Ibañez in recognition of the University’s contributions. #TastakCSU
