Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, Officer-in-Charge President of Cagayan State University, received the Climate Hero Award during the Gattaran–Cagayan Sustainable Development, Climate Action, and Investment Summit held on February 24, 2026 at the CSU Lal-lo Campus.

Presented by Climate Change Commission Commissioner Albert P. Dela Cruz Sr., the award recognizes his leadership and contributions to advancing climate action, sustainability, and community resilience in the region.
