Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The CSU Carig Alumni Association, led by Dr. Audy Quebral, formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement to support the Adopt-a-CSU Student Program during the Alumni Partnership and Awards activity. The program, authored by the Vice President for IPRM Ana Marie Cristina Cauilan and CSU Alumni Federation under President Atty. Carmelo “Black” Villacete aims to ease the financial burdens of CSU students through financial assistance by alumni, industry partners and private individuals.
The MOA signing follows the lead of the CSU Andrews Alumni Association led by Dr. Nestor Ave, the first to adopt the program. Atty. Villacete assured that all alumni associations across CSU’s eight campuses will soon join, making the initiative a united alumni movement.
CSU OIC President Arthur G. Ibañez recognized VP Cauilan and Atty. Villacete for advancing what he called “a noble initiative to ensure no dream is left behind.” He also appealed for alumni support to aid the CSU Calayan Campus, which sustained heavy damage from recent typhoons, stressing that contributions will be vital in helping the island campus recover and continue serving its students.
