Before crossing the stage and receiving their hard-earned diplomas and medals, the graduating students of Cagayan State University—Sanchez Mira Calayan Extension paused to reflect on their academic journey through a Baccalaureate Mass held yesterday, June 2, at St. Bartholomew Parish Church in Poblacion, Calayan, Cagayan.

Presided over by Rev. Fr. Ruben Irece, OFM, the celebration offered an opportunity for graduates and their families to give thanks for the challenges overcome, lessons learned, and dreams realized along the way.

These graduates will make history today, June 3, as members of the pioneer batch to take part in the First Academic Convocation of CSU-SM Calayan Extension.
