Recognizing the value of collaboration in higher education, Cagayan State University (CSU) and Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) formalized a strategic academic partnership through the virtual signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, June 15, 2026.

The agreement was signed by CSU Officer-in-Charge President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez and BASC President Dr. Jameson H. Tan, signifying both institutions' commitment to strengthening instruction, research, extension, and innovation.

Under the memorandum, the two academic institutions will work together in implementing faculty and researcher exchange programs, student mobility initiatives, collaborative research and extension projects, academic mentoring activities, and capacity-building programs.

The partnership will also facilitate the exchange of academic information and promote joint initiatives in agriculture, information and computing sciences, teacher education, hospitality and tourism, and other fields of mutual interest.

Through joint projects and knowledge-sharing initiatives, CSU and BASC seek to generate innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable development and nation-building.

The University, through CSU Lallo Campus, led by CEO Engr. James B. Cabildo alongside campus officials, is set to conduct a benchmarking activity at BASC on June 17, 2026, focusing on key academic colleges, administrative systems, and innovative facilities.
