Cagayan State University (CSU) Officer-in-Charge President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez welcomed Dr. Tirthankar Ghosh, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Wellness of Sri Sri University, India, during a courtesy visit held this afternoon, June 17, 2026.

The visit comes after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CSU and Sri Sri University aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and advancing shared goals in education, research, and community development.

The partnership focuses on collaborative initiatives in health and wellness, physical education, sports sciences, public health, and yoga, alongside faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, curriculum development, and academic capacity-building activities.

Dr. Ghosh is scheduled to deliver his second presentation tomorrow, June 18, 2026, featuring a global classroom training module focused on ergonomics and sports equipment as part of the university's Internationalization at Home (IaH) initiative.

This follows his primary lecture, “The Future of Athletic Excellence: Trends in Sports Physiology and Technology Integration,” which was conducted for DepEd teachers under the global community engagement program of the CSU Carig – College of Human Kinetics.
