As Cagayan State University (CSU) continues to strengthen its presence in the international academic community, another milestone has been achieved through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Durban University of Technology (DUT), one of South Africa's leading universities of technology.

The partnership signifies both institutions' shared commitment to advancing quality higher education through collaborative research, faculty and student exchanges, academic mobility, international conferences, joint publications, and innovative learning initiatives.

Designed as a five-year agreement, the MOU lays the groundwork for interdisciplinary collaboration and mutually beneficial programs that will enhance instruction, research, extension, and global engagement.

Among the priority areas of cooperation are joint research projects, exchange of faculty members and students, sharing of academic resources and research outputs, organization of conferences and workshops, and the exploration of joint academic programs.

Officer-In-Charge University President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez signed the agreement on behalf of CSU, while Prof. Fulufhelo Nemavhola, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Engagement, represented the Durban University of Technology.
