The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. has commenced the First Survey Visit and Preliminary Survey Visit for eight academic programs of Cagayan State University from July 20 to 24, 2026.

The evaluation covers five programs under the First Survey Visit and three programs under the Preliminary Survey Visit from the CSU Carig and CSU Andrews campuses.

Under the First Survey Visit are the Bachelor in Human Services, Bachelor of Library and Information Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, and Bachelor of Science in Social Work of the CSU Carig Campus, and the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education of the CSU Andrews Campus.

Meanwhile, the Preliminary Survey Visit covers the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology and Bachelor of Science in Architecture of the CSU Carig Campus, and the Master in Business Administration of the CSU Andrews Campus.

The accreditation process serves as an essential mechanism for assessing program quality, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring that CSU's academic offerings meet national standards of excellence in higher education.
