Strengthening institutional collaboration and charting the university's strategic direction remained the focus of the Cagayan State University Mid-Year Performance Review and Strategic Planning as activities continued on August 6, 2026.

The day's sessions featured CESB Chairperson Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, who delivered a presentation on "Institutional Transformation: The Partnership Advantage," while Legal and Technical Consultant Fr. Ranhilio C. Aquino, represented by Vice President Mariden C. Cauilan, discussed "Critical and Responsible Engagement with AI" and presented the proposed Acceptable Use Policy for artificial intelligence.

Presentations were followed by the review of the January–June 2026 SUC Levelling and other priority accomplishments of the university's campuses, presented by the respective campus executive officers: Dr. Froilan A. Pacris Jr. (Gonzaga), Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado (Sanchez Mira), Mr. Terence Alfred Roberto A. Tejada(Andrews), Dr. Florante M. Balatico (Lasam), Dr. James B. Cabildo (Lal-lo), Engr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang(Solana), Engr. Roger P. Rumpon (Carig), Dr. Hitler C. Dangatan (Piat), and Dr. Policarpio L. Mabborang Jr.(Aparri).
