Two higher education institutions are opening new avenues for graduate students, faculty members, and researchers as Cagayan State University–Graduate School (CSU-GS) and Angeles University Foundation–Graduate School (AUF-GS) formalize a partnership for academic and research collaboration.

Cagayan State University Officer-In-Charge President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez and AUF President Dr. Joseph Emmanuel L. Angeles signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a three-year framework for cooperation between the two graduate schools.

The agreement focuses on areas where collaboration can generate opportunities for both institutions, from joint research and publications to faculty exchange, academic mobility, instructional innovation, and internationalization.

Among the partnership's priorities is the development of joint and interdisciplinary research initiatives, including projects that may seek external funding. The two institutions will also explore the co-creation and sharing of digital, modular, and open educational resources to enhance graduate instruction.

Faculty members and researchers may likewise benefit from academic exchanges, collaborative teaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

The MOU also provides for the sharing of selected academic and library resources, subject to institutional policies and licensing requirements, giving researchers and graduate students opportunities to access broader knowledge resources.

Beyond national collaboration, Cagayan State University and AUF intend to strengthen their engagement with ASEAN and global academic networks through international programs, conferences, and institutional partnerships.

The agreement also recognizes the growing importance of lifelong learning by identifying micro-credentialing and continuing professional development as areas for possible collaboration.

Meanwhile, Cagayan State University key officials attended the MOU signing, including Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Mariden V. Cauilan, Vice President for IPRM Dr. Ana Marie C. Cauilan, CSU Andrews Campus CEO Mr. Terence Alfred Roberto A. Tejada, Graduate School Dean Dr. Julius T. Capili alongside other officials. University leaders from Angeles University Foundation also joined the ceremony virtually.
