Thirty-five examinees from Cagayan State University (CSU) passed the August 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination, posting a 68.63% institutional passing rate, significantly higher than the 57.57% national passing rate.

The 35 successful examinees came from four CSU campuses, with Sanchez Mira Campus recording a 78.57% passing rate, with 11 out of 14 examinees passing.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga Campus registered a 71.43% passing rate, with five of its seven examinees successfully hurdling the licensure examination. Aparri Campus posted a 70.59% passing rate, with 12 out of 17 examinees passing, while Piat Campus recorded a 53.85% passing rate, with seven out of 13 examinees passing.

Adding to this achievement, CSU recorded a 100% institutional passing rate among its first-time takers, with 15 out of 15 first-time examinees successfully passing the licensure examination. Sanchez Mira, Aparri, and Gonzaga campuses each recorded a perfect 100% passing rate among their first-time takers, with 8/8, 3/3, and 4/4 passers, respectively. This likewise surpassed the 65.19% national passing rate for first-time takers.

The University’s overall performance of 68.63% surpassed the national passing rate of 57.57%, reflecting the collective efforts of CSU’s academic community in preparing its students for professional licensure.
