With Cagayan State University serving as the host institution, the activity provided a collaborative setting for researchers from different disciplines and institutions to exchange perspectives, examine regional priorities, and identify opportunities for stronger research partnerships.
The activity included the induction of the 2026–2028 NRCP Region II Chapter officers, led by Cagayan State University faculty members Dr. Gilbert C. Magulod Jr. as Chair and Dr. Billy S. Javier as Vice Chair.
They are joined by Dr. Mary Joy L. Asprec of Isabela State University as Secretary, Dr. Crestian A. Agustin of Isabela State University as Treasurer, and Dr. Darin Jan C. Tindowen of the Commission on Higher Education as Information Officer.
